Yuzu (Citrus Junos) is a citrus fruit and plant. It is believed to have originated in the upper river basin of the Yangtze River in China. It reached Japan through the Korean Peninsula around 1300 years ago and was adopted in western Japan as a medicine. Currently, Yuzu is grown in Korea, Australia, Spain, Italy, France and China - where it originated.
Yuzu is known for its anti-ageing properties. It stimulates collagen production and helps inhibit the formation of advanced glycation end products, making it an effective natural anti-ageing ingredient. In doing so, Yuzu can firm the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles by improving elasticity.
